The Hidden Eye

Don't you just love the internet. It allows us not only to connect in ways we couldn't before, but also helps publicize those that came before and who might have disappeared into obscurity. Back in 2007, John Maloof bought a box of undeveloped film from an auction and after developing the film he found the work of Vivian Maier, a photographer who had shot more than 2,000 rolls of film from the 1940s to the 1970s. Her work is a candid look at street life in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. via Neatorama
